Welcome to the Carleton Reporter. My wife and I are residents of the Village of Carleton. Recently, we were discussing some community issues, and a thought came to us: Wouldn't it be great if there were a place on the internet where village residents could go to learn about and discuss issues and events that affect us as a community? After much brainstorming, the idea of the Carleton Reporter was born. Our hope is that residents of Carleton and Ash Township will be able to turn to this blog to share with each other about local events, happenings, politics, and news. We will try to update the information on this blog often. We regularly attend Village Council meetings, and we plan to use this site to keep village residents informed about issues of local importance. In addition, we want to provide a resource to allow people and groups in and around Carleton to share important information with one another.
